We recognize the importance that physical activity plays in developing both the mental and physical health of our students. Through our K-12 PE and Fitness programs, we strive to teach the importance of participation, teamwork, commitment, and perseverance. Whether in the gym, out on the field, or mountain biking up and down our local hills in Outdoor Ed class, there are plenty of options for our students to be active. Our grade 11-12 Fitness program provides a chance of students to significantly improve their sport performance as well as overall strength and conditioning. Our goal is that our students develop healthy lifestyle habits.
Highroad Academy has a rich history in athletics with provincial-level teams in multiple sports. At the intermediate grades, Highroad teams begin to compete against other local schools. Our senior teams compete in the Eastern Valley Zone at the Single 'A' level in volleyball, soccer, cross-country, basketball, track and field and badminton.
